“The Boys”: everything you need to remember before watching the new season

Since its premiere in 2019 Boys was a fresh and, above all, malicious reimagining of the world of superheroes. The story, which explores a world in which men and women with extraordinary abilities are the product, becomes increasingly confusing. But first of all, it’s much more complicated than what Marvel or DC have said so far. What makes the premise surrounding The Butcher (Karl Urban) and his confrontation with the corporation Vought International and especially against the Patriot (Anthony Starr), things get more difficult.

It’s clear that the production has taken on its own personality, despite being taken from a popular comic book. But while the first installment was an introduction to the characters as well as a faithful adaptation of Garth Ennis’s original, the next two went as usual.
