The Legion M production studio is working on a documentary about the historical interpreter of Captain Kirk in Star Trek – The Classic Series, William Shatner Alexandre O. Philippe will direct the documentary.
In addition to Star Trek, William Shatner’s path lasted well over 70 years, leading to a more than long-lived career as the interpreter is currently 91 years old. The productions that will ensure the realization of the project, the Legion M and Exhibit A Pictures, have also invited the same fans of the actor to participate in the documentary.
The actor himself said about this production:
For years, people have approached us who wanted to tell my life in a documentary, but I always turned down these requests because they didn’t seem like the right projects to me. Alexandre and I, on the other hand, approached the right way. And when I heard that Legion M also wants to involve fans in the documentary, I thought everything was perfect. Fans have led me to do this kind of career, and so it’s only fair that they were a part of it.
Recall that William Shatner is also the focus of a Prime Video documentary about his journey into space with Blue Origin.
