Rosario Dawson made all fans of the punisher, first announcing the continuation of the TV series and then denying everything. The actress’s first words came during the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, during a panel where she said The Punisher is ready to return.
Dawson himself, after these words bounced around the web, tweeted, declaring:
I can not believe it! Getting information from fans during book signings is not reliable. My mistake. I was excited. Acknowledgments don’t work if you’re told what you want to hear.
These words come after it was announced at San Diego Comic-Con that a TV series about Daredevil, titled Born Again, will be developed. The entire catalog of the Netflix Marvel TV series was released on Disney + last June and gradually the House of Mickey Mouse will decide to relaunch other TV series with new episodes, such as The Punisher itself.
At this point, Rosario Dawson’s words offer no certainty. We await further developments on upcoming Marvel productions ex Netflix on Disney+.
