Three years after his last on-screen appearance, Joe Pescia he goes back to acting, and he does it in Bupkisthe platform tv series Peacock who will have as another lead actor Pete Davidson. Edie Falco will also be present at the project.
Bupkis is a sitcom, with each episode lasting half an hour, based on the life of Pete Davidson. Edie Falco will play the role of Davidson’s mother, while Joe Pesci will be the protagonist’s grandfather.
On television, Joe Pesci has so far appeared in The Lucy Show, Half Nelson, Half a Thumb, in The Legendary Life of Ernest Hemingway and in Tales from the Crypt. Clearly Joe Pesci has entered cinematography history for his participation in Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Casino and Mamma, I Missed the Plane. Thanks to his performance in Goodfellas, in which he played the Italian-American mobster Tommy DeVito, Joe Pesci won a 1991 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Joe Pesci’s last film appearance was in Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman.
