Netflix formalizes the start date and cost of its new economic tariff plan, called “Base con ADVERTISEMENT”, available from November 3rd at 5 pm at a cost of €5.49 per month to the Italian public.

Base with ads will be available in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Korea, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, Mexico, United Kingdom, Spain and United States, in addition to the three existing plans, namely Base, Standard and Premium, they remain the same as they already are, for both old and new subscribers.

Base with ads comes just six months after the first announcement of an ad-pause plan at a lower price. None of this would have been possible without the hard work of our team and the extraordinary collaboration with Microsoft. The transition from linear TV is accelerating and streaming has now overtaken cable and over-the-air broadcasting in the United States. With Netflix starting at €5.49 per month, we are confident we can offer a price and subscription plan for all fans. While we’re still in the early stages, we’re thrilled with the interest we’ve seen from consumers and advertisers so far, and couldn’t be more excited about what’s to come. Based on what we will learn from this experience, we plan to expand the offer to other countries.

said Greg Peters, Netflix’s chief operating officer and chief product officer.
