On the occasion of New York Comic-Con 2022, the first clips of Titans 4with Nightwing in action, and with Lex Luthor And Mother Mayhem. But the news didn’t end with the videos, as the teaser of the TV series was also released afterwards. The videos revealed the new season’s highly supernatural and dark matrix, most notably linked to Raven.

Voices can be heard in the video that recall words that can be attributed to the character of Raven and the arrival of Brother Blood. Because the character is half human and half supernatural, the presence of figures like Brother Blood’s builds a bridge to Raven’s past. The words in the teaser are “Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos!”, due to a Raven song used in the comics to cast spells. The word “Azarath” can be traced back to the house of Raven and her people, the Azar, which has always been based on pacifism. In the comics, Raven breaks free from her people, to enter another dimension and bond with the Teen Titans. Would the presence of these symbols and characters indicate a change in the character’s perspective, which will be more influenced by his diabolical nature? Certainly, the collateral numbers associated with Raven will be of great importance in Titans 4.
After all, the presence of Brother Blood, which we can see in the images below, suggests that the references to the character’s diabolical past will be more than present. The care for the character’s appearance can be seen and is derived from George Perez’s comic book series on the New Titans. In the comics, the character is the leader of the cult called Church of Blood, worshiped by Raven’s evil father. It is therefore one of the most dangerous and dark villains in the DC Comics universe.

Recall that the interpreter Joseph Morgan has already played the role of Klaus Mikaelson in The Vampire Diaries. But Brother Blood’s character won’t be the only one to make his Titans 4 debut, as we’ll also see Mother Mayhem, Jinx, and Lex Luthor.
And the latter, considered one of the most diabolical figures (even if not in a supernatural sense), was shown in a new clip from Titans 4. In this video, Lex Luthor’s character, played by Titus Welliver, finds a way to disturb the Titans’ computers because he plans to communicate with Superboy.
Finally, the last clip has to do with Mother Mahyem, the one who is the main figure in the Church of Blood, and also the mother of Brother Blood. The character has had as alters figures in the comics Anna Resik and May Bennett. His first appearance in comics was in New Titans #21 in 1982.
The fourth season of Titans will be released on HBO Max on November 3 in the United States and on Netflix in Italy.
