He passed away at the age of 69 Kevin O’Neilldesigner known for working on the society of extraordinary mencomic created together with Alan Moore. According to what was revealed, O’Neill had been missing for a week, due to an illness that has plagued him for a long time.
Kevin O’Neill was a British cartoonist who worked for many years as an artist and editor, and was already noticed in the anthology magazine 2000AD. Among his most famous creations we can mention Marshal Law and Nemesis the Warlock.
Recall that The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was created in 1999 by Alan Moore along with Kevin O’Neill, and between the main strip and the various spin-offs, work on the title continued until 2019. Among O’Neill’s other works we can list his participation in the Green Lantern comics. And Tales of the Green Lantern Corps Annual #2 is drawn by O’Neill from a script by Alan Moore himself.
Thanks in part to his work on The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, cartoonist Kevin O’Neill won the Eisner Award in 2003 for the “best miniseries” of the year.
