Lion’s Gate recently released the official trailer of John Wick 4the fourth part of the saga about the character played by Keanu Reeves. The new film will hit theaters on March 24.

Here’s the trailer.

Director Chad Stahelski said of the film’s length:

We wrote a longer film than the others, but also a bigger and more challenging film. Even if in the end we only find three scenes more than in the previous feature film. We expected something more to come out. The bottom line is whether or not we want more from this project, and my answer is “yes”.

The filmmaker then confirmed that it is a feature film of over two hours. The running time of the John Wick films increases considerably, as the first film of the saga was about an hour and 40, while the third reached two hours and 11 minutes.

John Wick 4 is directed by Chad Stahelski (based on the characters created by Derek Kolstad) and written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch. The film also stars Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins and Ian McShane.

Movie Synopsis:
John Wick (Keanu Reeves) faces increasingly deadly adversaries in the fourth chapter of the saga.
With an increasing price on his head, Wick begins his fight against the High Table worldwide, seeking the most powerful figures in the underworld, from New York to Paris, from Osaka to Berlin.

It was also recently revealed that Keanu Reeves herself will appear in the spin-off Ballerina, starring Ana de Armas. The Ballerina project, in addition to the return of Keanu Reevs as John Wick, will also see Ian McShane who will return as Winston, the owner of the Continental hotel.
