NBC has decided to renew the series Law & authority And Law & Order: Organized Crime for the twenty-second and third seasons respectively. All of this is part of a deal that will see the original Law & Order series renew itself for another three years, extending its longest-running live-action show record.

Lisa Katz, president of programming at NBCU Entertainment, said of the series revamp:

Law & Order is synonymous with NBC programming and we are happy to have these projects with us for the 2022/2023 television season as well. All this is testament to Dick Wolf’s brilliant storytelling that leaves audiences in suspense week after week, year after year.

Dick Wolf himself added:

These innovations are a dream come true. The fact that the entire Wednesday and Thursday lineup has been revamped is another testament to the strength of our partnership with NBC and Universal Television. I would like to personally thank the writers and cast, producers and work team who put themselves to the test with difficult and never experienced experiences up to the time of the pandemic.

The Law & Order series is available on Prime Video.
