Because to be honest, we don’t all fear the same thing. We don’t have the same phobias and fears. Some are more about monsters, some are about paranormal events… There are also those who are afraid of the dark and its contents. And finally, there are those of us who can’t stand seeing children.

A middle-class American family moves to live in an idyllic neighborhood, but strange things begin to happen inside the house, paranormal phenomena with no possible explanation. We are talking about a classic from the 80s that still exists in our society.

Directed by Tobe Hooper, this movie is one of the masterpieces of the fantasy horror genre. over the decades it has only increased its legend. That’s where the phrase “It looks like we built our house on an Indian cemetery” came from, to express our damnation.

If you haven’t seen her, it doesn’t matter, the girl in Poltergeist is more famous than the lion in Metro Goldwyn Mayer. Her name is Caroline and she needs to go towards the light. You will understand this reference when you watch the movie, don’t worry. The movie itself isn’t about scary kids, but you’re not going to have a good time with the girl on stage.

Right now Poltergeist (1982) is available to watch in high definition on HBO Max and you won’t have a very good time for almost two hours. Of course, we are talking about an incorruptible classic.

This time we have another horror classic, in this case we’re talking about a book that inspired two movies.. A modern remake of the original released in 1990 and coming in two parts in 2017 and 2019. Both are worth seeing. Depending on whether you want an old school or modern experience.

Written by horror master Stephen King, the book torments us through more than 1,300 pages with a demonic force that takes all forms. Movies are precious accolades that do their bit. And while there is no child hero who is bad, evil takes all kinds of forms in the movie in question.

His goal is to find peace and quiet to write a novel. However, shortly after his arrival at the hotel, strange and terrifying paranormal events occur as Jack begins to suffer from troubling personality disorders.

Today the report is about the classics and few kids were scarier than those without special effects or CGI, where fair makeup and what could be done were done. But we still have some of the most legendary scenes in cinema. Handshows by Stanley Kubrick, of course.

If you’re afraid of the bad boys in this movie, you get them in pairs. And to finish off, there’s a scary, awesome Jack Nicholson who isn’t even half normal. We are faced with one of the papers of his career, which will be told soon. The Shining (1980) is a must-see movie.

And we’re talking about the biggest horror classic on the list, which, although it was said very soon, was a precursor to something.

The Exorcist (1973) is an excellent movie that is the reason why millions of people are starting to suspect children in movies and TV shows. When a baby doesn’t seem trustworthy, the first thing we think about is “I’m sure she’s as bad as the girl in the exorcist”.

You may not believe it because it wasn’t planned, but The Exorcist is also on HBO Max because Warner Media was committed to buying many of the horror classics of the 70s, 80s and 90s. The classic horror platformer right now.
