Second season Dragon House filming has officially begun in the United Kingdom. After the absolute success of the first season, HBO wasted no time and quickly got to work to begin production on the next episodes. After all, this is one of HBO’s flagship Max series, and it will remain so when the platform completes its transition to a new service: Max.
On the eve of the premiere Dragon Housethere were many doubts as to whether the universe created by George R. R. Martin would succeed in regaining the popularity it once enjoyed with Game of Thrones. The latter’s disastrous end, for good reason, has created uncertainty in the face of its first spin-off focused entirely on House Targeryen.
Luckily for the fandom and HBO itself, First season Dragon House exceeded all expectations and became one of the best series of 2022. It has been shown that the stories of Westeros continue to be of great interest to viewers and that there is still more to tell on the small screen.

While it is true that the people responsible for the series have allowed themselves some creative freedom with respect to fire and blood, the novel they are inspired by, neither of them caused massive discontent among fans of the franchise. In fact, these were more than welcome changes. This is an adaptation that dares to offer new things without changing the main plot.

All your favorite characters will soon be plotting at the council tables, marching with their armies and fighting on their dragons. The end of the first season ended with a devastating event. Luceris Velarion, son of Rhaenyra Targaryen, died after a vicious assault by Vhagar, Aymond’s dragon. Although his cousin didn’t want to kill him, that doesn’t stop a new war from breaking out in the Seven Kingdoms. Which it will be pretty brutal and bloody if they stick to the facts fire and blood.
Call “Dance of the Dragons” started, and will have several plot twists on the level Game of Thrones. If this franchise has already taught us anything, it’s not to get attached to any character, no matter how important it may seem. The same recommendation should be extended to dragon house.
Season 2 doesn’t have a release date yet, but chances are we can enjoy it during first half of 2024.
