However, Bohemia Interactive emphasizes that they cooperated with fact-checking agencies and the role of some community members who helped discredit these videos on various social media platforms.

Bohemia’s head of public relations said: “While we are flattered that Arma 3 so realistically simulates modern warfare engagements, we are certainly not happy that this has been confused with real-life combat footage and used as war propaganda.” Pavel Krizka, in a press release.

Bohemia Interactive has shared a series of tips to help people distinguish between real images and shared videos from the video game ‘Arma 3’. These tips are crucial to prevent the spread of disinformation and fake news regarding conflict situations.

FirstlyHe points out that fake videos tend to have lower visual quality compared to real recordings. Additionally, they are often recorded from the computer screen rather than using internal recording; This can lead to simulated tremors that do not occur in real situations.

(Our recommendation: ‘The Crew Motorfest’: a diverse title that you can spend hours playing).

Another tip for spotting fake videos is that they are usually recorded in low-light or night environments. This hides the lack of detail in the image. These videos usually have no sound, as the video game’s internal sounds are easily distinguishable.

Additionally, they often do not show people in action or realistically portray conflict effects such as explosions, fire, or smoke.
