Geological Service of Colombia (SGC) on Friday, December 15, around 12:15 p.m. According to the preliminary bulletin, a 4.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the country.
The epicenter was in the north of the country, in the municipality of Sampués (Sucre), SGC reported.
Initial reports from citizens indicate that the outbreak was also felt in Beforelejo, Sahagún and other municipalities in the Caribbean Region.
“Inside Chinese I felt like I was at my desk and noticed how my chair and computer were moving,” said one Internet user.
“San Andrés de Sotavento“Pretty strong!” said another.
“I felt it inside me HuntingCórdoba is pretty strong since it’s on the first floor,” said one ‘X’ user.

In expanding the report, The Colombian Geological Service confirmed the depth to be 63 km.
So far, no damage has been reported in any of the municipalities where the earthquake was felt.
Google has an earthquake detection service. The technology firm uses the ‘ShakeAlert’ system, which consists of a network of 1,675 sensors.
Those who own an Android phone and want to activate notifications can do so easily. The service costs nothing.
To turn on alerts on your device, open your phone’s settings, go to ‘Security & Emergency’ and then go to ‘Earthquake Alerts’. Notifications should already be enabled with this procedure.
