Sony confirms enhanced PS5 Pro games will be available from day one

We’re on the final countdown to launch PS5 Prowhich will appear on the market in a few days; specifically this Thursday, November 7th. In an effort to get the most out of its powerful new hardware, Sony has confirmed: What improved games will be available for the device from day one?.

While it’s true that some games optimized for the PS5 Pro were already announced when the console was officially unveiled, and during the last State of Play, this time the Japanese provided a more in-depth look at the catalog in question. There are over 50 games that will be able to take full advantage of the console’s capabilities once in the hands of consumers.

Despite the welcome improvements in performance and graphics quality that the PS5 Pro promises, many have criticized Sony’s decision to introduce the console without a new game to fully realize its potential.

PlayStation limited itself to saying that both first-party and third-party offerings for the PS5 will be updated free of charge with improvements such as PSSR upscaling technology and ray tracing optimized, and the tag will be added in future releases “Enhanced PS5 Pro” or “Improved for PS5 Pro” when they use the new features.

There’s no doubt that we’ve come across more than an interesting variety of games to get the most out of the PS5 Pro. Keep in mind that for some reason it appeared on the PlayStation Blog. • 2 USB-A 10 Gbps ports and 2 USB-C ports, although only one of them is 10 Gbps;
• One M.2 SSD expansion port;
• One HDMI port;
• Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity;
• Maximum rated power 390 W.

In terms of dimensions, the PS5 Pro measures 388 x 216 x 89 millimeters and weighs 3.1 grams. Let us remind you that the new Sony console is sold in Europe in exchange for 799.99 eurosbut does not include a disc reader or vertical support. Those who want the latter will have to buy them separately and shell out €119.99 and €29.99 respectively.
