Today, that drought ended with a flood of news in the form of a new graphics card: the NVIDIA RTX 4000. In the absence of AMD’s RX 7000, these are the most advanced graphics cards introduced so far, even bigger than the Intel Arc.

RTX 4090 release date, price and specs

RTX 4080: 16 GB and 12 GB models
This model is focused on the gamer client. With two models, depending on the resolution we’re going to play at, NVIDIA is updating its most reliable GPU yet. For a decade, buying an 80 was like having a graphics card that could easily be upgraded to 3 generations.

DLSS 3 and what this new technology means for GPUs
In addition to the announcement of two models that we have learned little by little, NVIDIA has paid a lot of attention to DLSS 3, technology that allows you to render a game at a lower resolution to consume less resources, and then project it in 4K without losing quality.

GeForce RTX 4000 pricing and release date
Finally, it’s time to remember what we saw in this presentation, at least in the game part (because they spent a good few minutes announcing their new processors for autonomous cars: NVIDIA Drive Thor).

As you see, the advent of the RTX 4000 will lead to lower prices for the current generation models.which would make sense since they are not expected to release a mid-range GeForce 4000 until next year, hence lowering the price of the 3060 and others to deplete existing stock.
