At the hearing, which continued this Thursday, Poulos took a defiant stance. The warranty judge has already scolded him for his behavior: “Excuse me, Public Department representative, we’re going to make a call to draw attention. Dear translator, please tell Mr. John Nelson to pay attention to the translation. I do not see the intervention of the Public Ministry’s female delegate as a mockery or cause for laughter for some.“.

While the prosecution showed their evidence, the investigating authority also revealed details of Valentina’s last hours before she was apparently drowned by her American partner.
One of these pieces is the story and conversations he had with his partner in Colombia. This is Santiago Luna, a cryptocurrency businessman whose relatives say DJ is in love with.
Luna described the last moments in her account to the authorities: “I spoke to him at 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, January 21.”

Luna complained about a photo of her appearing at a dinner, stating that she was chatting on Instagram in her disclosures. “Then I asked her who she was with and she said she was with some friends and she reprimanded me for my trips in Medellín with my friends,” Luna said.
Later in the same conversation, Luna sends him a hand expression. “So I sent him a hand emoji and the last message he sent me was ‘Hmmm, are we like this?’ So I left it in plain sight”.

It would seem that these messages were to be Valentina Trespalacios’ last messages before she was killed. In previous conversations, the DJ had admitted that he would “not waste our last days together”. She writes that we are only a few days away from being together and that she has to tell me something in person, that she doesn’t know how to stand it…”.
The fact is that on the morning of February 22, he leaves the building with the DJ in a blue suitcase. And precisely in this crime, that wheelless blue suitcase, black tape and blanket seen in different scenes are the main evidence of the investigation.
It was also known that John Poulos took Valentina Trespalacios’ cell phone and unlocked it, as revealed by the EL TIEMPO Investigation Unit, and took several screenshots, including a conversation with a friend.
