Wildberries began to automatically return money for reverse logistics of defective products

Marketplace Wildberries began automatically refunding customers for reverse logistics of defective goods. This was reported in Wildberries.

Previously, buyers had to contact marketplace support to issue a return for defective products. Now the money is returned to the buyer immediately after receiving the defective goods in the warehouse.

Funds are credited to the buyer’s personal account balance. They can be withdrawn to a bank card.

Wildberries introduced paid returns in May 2022. Later, the founder of the market, Tatyana Bakalchuk, explained the introduction of a paid return as a “fight against shopaholics.”
