Yadro group of companies introduced its first tablet, Kvadra_T. Its operating system will run on the basis of Kvadra OS, but for corporate and government customers there is an option to install Aurora OS.
RAM tablet – six gigabytes, physical – 128, expandable up to 256. The device is equipped with an octa-core processor with a frequency of up to 2.4 gigahertz. The battery capacity is nine thousand milliamps per hour. The 10.95 inch Kvadra_T screen has Full HD+ resolution.
Kvadra OS is based on the Android Open Source Project, with all components seriously redesigned according to the company. In addition, the Russian app store RuStore is integrated into the operating system.
Dmitry Cherkasov, CEO of Yadro Client Systems, said that the design of the tablet was inspired by Kazimir Malevich’s Black Square painting. Kvadra_T will be produced at the Yadro plant in Dubna, near Moscow.
The cost of the new gadget will be 39,990 rubles. In addition to the device itself, for an additional price, users will be offered additional accessories – a keyboard, a case and a pen.
