Nutritionist Irina Berezhnaya says that high-quality vegetables can be found not on the roadside, but in specialized stores with certificates confirming the freshness of products.

He explains that vegetables have the ability to absorb everything around them, including exhaust fumes, which are very dangerous. Even cars with exhaust pipe shields emit some lead, which can build up in the body and cause serious illness. For this reason, the doctor recommends not to buy vegetables sold in the ruins by the roadside.

Berezhnaya explains that in trusted stores, boxes of vegetables should contain information about the date and place of manufacture, the method of delivery and the origin of products. It is also important to pay attention to the absence of rot, moisture and pests on vegetables.

The doctor also underlines that nitrate in vegetables cannot be determined from its appearance, and special devices are required for this. He says that the shiny surface of the fruit is the result of paraffin treatment.
