Redmi Buds 4 Active is launched worldwide by Xiaomi

This week Xiaomi made its global launch redmi buds 4 active wireless earphones. The accessory will not be limited to China, bringing at least one significant improvement over its predecessor to the international mobile technology and headset market.

One of the most important features of the Active model compared to the standard Redmi Buds 4 is the size of the sound drivers, which in the new version has been increased to 12 mm. Earlier earphones were only 10mm, so the difference in sound power on the Redmi Buds 4 Active should be noticeable.

But not everything in the new version is improvements. Redmi Buds 4 Active only offers two noise canceling modes, against three in the original model. In addition, the water and dust resistance certificate of the latest model is IPX4, while the previous Redmi Buds 4 brings IPX5.

Autonomy and connectivity

Xiaomi promises up to 5 hours of use for the Redmi Buds 4 Active. However, when using the case for recharging, autonomy can reach up to 28 hours.

The accessories are equipped with fast charging technology and can offer up to 2 hours more work in just 10 minutes of plugging in. The case has a 440mAh battery and together with the earphones they weigh 42g.

Connectivity is via Bluetooth 5.3 and the headphones are compatible with Google Fast Pair. Xiaomi has not released pricing information or a date for the start of sales of the new headphones.
