Apple has changed the Apple Security Bounty reward program for discovered vulnerabilities in its products:
▶︎ The main reward now consists of $2 million. It can be obtained to go through a chain of exploits that can achieve the same goals as sophisticated spyware.
▶︎ This payment can be increased up to $5 millionIf a vulnerability is discovered in beta versions of firmware, hackers will be able to bypass all protection modes.
▶︎ Bypassing Gatekeeper on macOS can be obtained $100 thousand
▶︎ There is a reward for hacking iCloud $1 million. No one has managed to do this yet.
The new conditions will come into effect in 2025.
