Lithuanian venture fund with Russian roots Cats.vc has left Estonian agricultural startup eAgronom. This was announced by the managing partner of Cats.vc Maxim Chebotarev. This is the foundation’s first outing since its inception.
eAgronom develops a complete SaaS solution for agricultural land management. The platform helps farmers reduce red tape and keep all data related to harvesting and planting in an orderly manner.
In 2020, the Cats.vc fund invested 3.1 million euros in eAgronom as part of the seed round. Then IronWolf Capital and SuperAngel VC participated in the round.
“All investors in the Cats.vc deal received payments and are very satisfied. For Cats.vc, this is the first output that we have reached in 3 years since its foundation, ”Chebotarev wrote on his social network account.
He also said that the fund is now in the process of closing its eighth transaction in Latin America. In total, there are 19 companies in the Cats.vc portfolio today.
Previously, in 2022, Cats.vc invested €600,000 in the Italian online store chain Macai.
