Engineers of the all-Russian volunteer project Archangel have developed a new aircraft-type attack aircraft, which is a much cheaper analogue of the Lancet kamikaze drone. Idle ammunition tests are scheduled for August.

Archangel said the cost of the new kamikaze drone would be ten times the cost of the Lancet and two times less than any Mavic device. The developer claims that he is ready to produce 50-100 units of such devices per day, even without expanding production.

The wingspan of the drone is about two meters. The device will also be equipped with mobile consoles that speed up the deployment process for combat work. The range of the drone will be up to 25 kilometers.

According to the developers, the new drone will be a worthy alternative to the FPV drones commonly used in the special military operations zone. Archangel believes that while the latter’s flight range is limited to five to seven kilometers, the kamikaze drone can carry explosives to a distance of 15-25 kilometers, thereby enabling them to destroy enemy equipment and valuable personnel.
