Ookla has collected data on Internet access in various countries, which most often claim a place for relocation for the purpose of remote work. These are either tropical countries with a favorable climate, or powers with a high standard of living and services. But still, stable and fast Internet is in the first place – in Thailand it is out of competition here.

In 2023, Thailand recorded maximum upload and download speeds of 196.20 bps and 164.85 bps. Only a delay of 12 ms almost pulls before recording, because in Taiwan it is 10 ms. Among the Central European countries, Panama and Brazil have 100 Mbit/s downloads, but Panama has an upload and then 14.60 Mbit/s.

By analogy, in non-tropical countries, the best performance in Europe, Spain, Norway, Europe and Europe are those countries in which there are corners of Europe where downloads of 100 Mbps can be calculated. But Hungary somewhat spoils the picture, so it is darker than 34.33 MB / s. If we talk about connectivity, then Thailand, Taiwan and Romania will be the leaders. Here, 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload are guaranteed using fixed broadband.

The most accessible Internet turned out to be in Brazil – assuming that you consider this country as a place for remote work. But the local criminal situation makes its own adjustments, as well as rental prices and other expenses. Still, working away from the office depends on many tastes, and not just on access to Internet.
