Last month, Cens secured the top spot in the HWBOT GPUPI 3.3 32B benchmark, hitting an impressive 3.825 GHz. The HWBOT rating is based on a software called GPUPI that calculates Pi using the Bailey-Borwein-Pluffet formula with OpenCL or CUDA optimizations.
Currently, the top 20 in the ranking is the GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card. Cens is currently in the first place. The maximum frequency of the graphics card has reportedly reached 3930 MHz, the highest GPU frequency ever recorded.
It’s important to note that GPUPI is not a benchmark for graphics-intensive performance like games or synthetic tests. But this feat brings the community closer than ever to breaking the 4.0 GHz barrier for graphics cards.
Cens used the Colorful iGame RTX 4090 LAB version, which is an upgraded version of iGame Vulcan.
