Last Tuesday (5), several singers’ YouTube channels were hacked. The accounts of artists such as Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Justin Bieber and Lil Nas X have been hacked.
Official clips of the musicians were deleted, while new videos of a Spanish con artist named Paco Sanz and rapper Lil Tjay were added. The attacker identified himself via the @lospelaosbro Twitter account.

security reinforcement
As an answer AngerSony Music, Universal Group, and Warner’s music video network Vevo acknowledged the incident, explaining that “some videos were uploaded directly to a small number of Vevo artist channels today by an unauthorized source.”
The company also stressed that it needs to review its security systems. “Although the artists’ channels are secured and the case is resolved, as a best practice Vevo will review our security systems.”
YouTube has not yet commented on the incident.
