It’s no secret that Apple’s headquarters have always been located in the state of California, where earthquakes regularly occur. Taking care of its employees, the company in 1986 launched the Survival Recruitment program, which was carried out from the staff before, during and after the earthquakes.
The kit included documentation on the Earthquake Survival Kit program, an Apple brochure entitled “How Do You Plan to Survive?”, a Sunset magazine special report entitled “Preparing for a Big Quake” in 1982, and the third edition of “Earthquake Safety and Survival” published by American Red Cross in 1986.
Enthusiasts found perfectly preserved copies of the brochures and digitized it, so below you can be sure that Apple designers already then skillfully made beautiful, concise and informative booklets.
