Opera Software was announced last Thursday (22) Mobile version of Opera One browser with built-in Aria generator artificial intelligence, Restricted to Android users for now. Called by Pocket AI company, The technology is the result of a partnership with OpenAI, the creators of ChatGPT.
The idea is that “users can have a native AI tool like Aria on the go”, Stefan Stjernelund, Opera’s vice president of Android products, said on the Norwegian company’s website.
Built into the browser, AI Aria is available for free in both desktop and Android versions. In Opera, AI uses Composer’s own infrastructure to connect directly to OpenAI’s GPT technology. that means “trains” AI as users search, compose text, and get answers to product queries.
How does Aria AI work in the mobile version of Opera?
Although it comes natively in the browser, Opera’s artificial intelligence is fully user-controlled. Who may or may not accept it. But anyone who uses it will get the same insights and smart responses on mobile as they get on the desktop version, in addition to responses to voice commands.
When Opera users open links with the new AI, a small Aria bubble appears in the browser with the new tab. That way, you can easily get back to the ongoing conversation with the AI. New links open in new tabs in the same chat, without having to search for the Aria tab in the browser.
