The computer equipment manufacturer Aquarius announced the purchase of 67.8% of Aerodisk, developer of data storage systems and virtualization systems.

Aquarius bought a stake in data storage systems developer Aerodisk

The companies will jointly develop integrated solutions, including implementing new approaches to building hierarchical data processing and storage systems.

As noted in the press service, the changes in the ownership structure will not affect the management and creation of the Aerodisk product line. No transformations to the existing service and partner programs are planned.

According to Vyacheslav Volodkovich, CEO of Aerodisk, the partnership will reduce the gap between market demands and available capacities.

As part of the joint work, the companies intend to meet the growing demand for innovative solutions, said Vladimir Stepanov, President of Aquarius Group.
Last year it became known about Aquarius’s plans to start developing microelectronics on the open RISC-V architecture.
