Data transfer is carried out with the consent of the user. Sberbank customers receive relevant messages in the form of push notifications or SMS. And if the client does not refuse to transfer his biometrics from Sberbank to EBS within 30 days after receiving the notification, all data will be transferred to the state resource. If the client is against the transfer, Sberbank will delete the data.
According to the Center for Biometric Technologies, 30 million of the 75 million biometric data collected by commercial systems are stored in the Sberbank database.
