Latvia will partially resume accepting visa applications from Russians

Latvia will resume accepting visa applications from certain categories of Russians. Diplomatic missions will start accepting documents from July 4, the Latvian Foreign Ministry said.

Applications will be accepted from Russians whose relatives are citizens of Latvia, as well as citizens of other EU countries and Switzerland. In addition, the acceptance of documents for the issuance of humanitarian visas will resume, for example, to visit sick relatives or attend funerals.

On June 26, Latvia stopped accepting documents from Russians for the issuance of all types of visas due to the situation with Wagner PMC.
