The Ministry of Commerce of China announced that it will control the export of some metals, will be widely applied in the semiconductor industry.
The control is aimed at protecting national security and interests, the Ministry of Defense. New consumption restrictions from exporters get permission to ship some products from Gaul and Germany.

In response, from August 1, the new system will contain a product description related to gallium and germanium: gallium antimonide, gallium arsenide, gallium metal, gallium nitride, gallium oxide control, gallium phosphide, gallium selenide, gallium indium arsenide, germanium dioxide , germanium epitaxial growth substrate, germanium ingot, germanium metal, germanium tetrachloride and germanium zinc phosphate.
Germany also used in infrared technology, export optical cables and sensing elements.
