The FAS Department for the Penza Region imposed a fine of 250,000 rubles on Alfa-Bank JSC. This is stated in the message from the department.

OFAS recognized “Alfa-Bank” as a violator of the federal law “On advertising”. According to the department, the bank made calls with promotional offers to subscribers who did not agree to receive advertising.

“The applicant did not give his consent to receive advertising of his subscriber number to the telecom operator or other persons,” OFAS said.

Previously, Sberbank and Pyaterochka received fines from the Federal Antimonopoly Service for misleading advertising: the bank – 600 thousand rubles, the retailer – 300 thousand rubles.
