At the request of RB.RU, Tochka’s Foreign Economic Activity (FEA) experts compiled a list of the most popular expressions and slang words used by Russian importers in 2023.
Top 10 slang words and expressions of Russian importers:
- “Dteshka” – declaration of assets;
- “Tekhnichka” – technical description of the products;
- “Hang the payment” – send the payment for verification to the currency control;
- “Register a contract” – register;
- DS, “dopik” – additional agreement;
- “Customs clearance” – customs clearance of goods;
- “Permit” – permits for the goods (for example, a certificate of conformity);
- “Squeezed out the statement” – filed a statement;
- “Specification” – specification;
- “Release” – adoption by the customs authority of a decision on the release of goods as a result of the import customs clearance procedure.
