Unique site visitors also fell by 5.7% and time on site decreased by 8.5%. This suggests that the innovation of AI chatbots may have exhausted itself, or that people are moving to analogs closer to the familiar ecosystem: Bard from Google or Bing from Microsoft.

The decline in interest in AI chatbots isn’t limited to ChatGPT, with a 38% drop in app downloads from Microsoft Bing.
