MSG Sphere, the world’s largest hemispherical concert hall, has been completed in Las Vegas.

The hallmark of MSG Sphere is its design. Outside, the building encompasses 1.2 million LEDs occupying a hockey puck, covering an area of 54 m².

Any video can be displayed on the MSG Sphere facade. Thanks to the large number of LEDs, the building is very brightly lit from the outside, and several kilometers can be seen.

MSG Sphere includes 20 thousand people. It is mainly used as a hall for concerts and award ceremonies. But it is also expected to hold sports competitions, for example, boxing stops.

Inside the hemisphere are 164 speakers and the world’s largest LED screen. It covers an area of 15 thousand m² and has a resolution of 16K.

$2.3 billion was spent on the construction of MSG Sphere. The official opening will take place on September 29, 2023. [CNN]
