At the retail level, price increases are expected to be even higher as retailers seek to maintain profitability. Experts note that most imported appliances are still paid in foreign currency, making it vulnerable to currency fluctuations.

Alexey Pogudalov, commercial director of Holodilnik.ru, said that new price tags for these devices can be expected next week, the cost will increase by 10-15%.

Price increases are expected to be most effective in electronic devices such as smartphones, laptops and tablets. The rise in home appliance prices is likely to occur in mid-August, when retailers run out of stock.

But experts warn that if exchange rates do not stabilize, there could be a short-term increase in demand as consumers rush to shop before prices rise further. This happened in the spring of 2022, when consumers feared further price increases.
