The Ministry of Public Works has drawn up a bill on plot labeling of video games

In Russia, it was proposed to label video games according to their plot content. The press service of the Ministry of Economic Development told TASS about the preparation of the corresponding bill.

The department proposes to impose labeling obligations on game manufacturers and distributors. It will be a warning or text signal.

Under the bill, games released on all platforms, including set-top boxes and consoles, will need to be tagged.

The Ministry of Economic Development believes that labeling digital content will protect users from inappropriate content and manufacturers from unfounded claims.
