The State Duma approved in the third reading a bill that provides for the prohibition of the dissemination of information on transactions in the field of foreign trade, which may entail sanctions for its participants by hostile countries and companies. The document was published on the website of the lower house of parliament.
This applies to information on any transaction related to the trade of services, goods and intellectual property in the foreign market.
It will be possible to distribute such information only with the written consent of the parties to the transaction. This does not apply to state authorities, the president of the Central Bank and his deputies.
At the same time, if the transaction participant himself spread information against the sanction on the network or through the media, the restriction is automatically lifted.
For the disclosure of information without permission, the same liability is established as for the disclosure of information with restricted access: a fine. For individuals it will amount to 5-10 thousand rubles, for officials - 40-50 thousand rubles, for legal entities - 100-200 thousand rubles.
