One of the users under the pseudonym Black Hand created a new project called Counter-Strike: Opposed Force, combining two popular games at once. This modification is based on Counter-Strike: Condition Zero and includes elements of Half-Life Opposed Force.

In the new project, players will fight as HECU and Black-Ops soldiers at the Black Mesa research complex.

They will use an updated arsenal of weapons inspired by the classic Half-Life. At the same time, the science staff will become hostages that players must protect.

It is important to note that the Counter-Strike: Opposed Force mod was developed only for Counter-Strike: Condition Zero and will not be compatible with the classic version of Counter-Strike 1.6.

According to the authors, the change is 60% ready. And that means there’s still some time before it’s fully released.
