A Moscow court imposed two fines on the US service Twitch for failing to remove content banned in Russia. The first fine is in the amount of 4 million rubles, the second – in 3 million rubles, TASS reports.
The first protocol was drawn up due to the refusal to remove three videos on the topic of a special military operation in Ukraine. Tax authorities have also revealed videos containing information about gambling and online casinos.
- In January, Twitch was fined 4 million rubles. The reason was the broadcast of an interview with the former adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine Alexei Arestovich Mark Feigin (located in the register of foreign agents of the Russian Federation).
- In April, the service received another fine for failing to remove information about four links related to a special military operation in Ukraine.
Later it became known about a fine of 2 million rubles to Dropbox hosting. The service did not remove information about the special operation, Vedomosti reported.
