inDrive has started offering service drivers in Indonesia the service of renting an electric motorcycle for work with its subsequent “free” exchange. After 819 days of renting a motorcycle, it becomes the property of the renter, Republika writes.
In the first stage, 50 electric motorcycles will be available for the special rental program. To participate in it, the driver must pass the selection.
The program involves electric motorcycles from Ivitech.drive. In April, Ivitech launched a bike subscription service in Indonesia. The company invested $150-200 thousand to enter the new market.
Renting an electric motorcycle under the program will cost 33,000 Indonesian rupiah per day, or 198 rubles at current exchange rates. For 819 days of rental, the driver will pay about 162 thousand rubles if the rate remains at current levels.
