Russian networkists have created an industrial (industrial) tomograph designed to check the quality of artistic details created using 3D printing. The preparation of the apparatus of the parish of St. Petersburg ELTECH-Med, and the development of software, which also received the Smart Tomo Engine, was entrusted to the capital’s Smart Engines.

In fact, there are several highly detailed 3D models that are not in mass production that require precise control of this product, which is best done using X-ray tomography.

With the help of industrial tomographs, you can track any kind of product created using 3D printing – from microchips to internal combustion engines. They made it possible to obtain a restored 3D image with high quality and its consequences with a reference model in the plane, the presence of any hidden defects and, of course, dimensions.

According to ELTECH-Med and Smart Engines, the partners are already ready to start mass production of their industrial tomographs in the amount of about 50 units annually, which meets all the requirements for the requirements of customers of this equipment. At the moment, depending on the modification, the cost of tomography budget has reached 20 million. ruble.
