Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that Apple is testing its own generative AI.

The program has developed an “Ajax” framework for large language models such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Bing and Google Bard. Also the number of own native chatbots, which some engineers refer to as “Apple GPT”.

However, the Cupertino team does not yet plan to launch a neural network for the masses, but rather they are going to replace the analogues of OpenAI, Google, and so on, in order to solve the privacy issue for their employees.
