Almost 80,000 Lada cars will be recalled for repairs due to the lack of a control unit for the Era-Glonass emergency alert system. The recall is subject to Lada Granta, Niva Legend and Niva Travel sold in 2022-2023.
Avtovaz recalls 79.5 thousand Lada Granta, Niva Legend and Niva Travel vehicles from the market. The reason for the recall is the lack of a control unit for the Era-Glonass emergency alert system in the cars, according to a statement on the Rosstandart website.
Owners of recalled vehicles will be informed of the need to return them to the dealership by phone or letter.
“The control unit of the Era-Glonass emergency alert system will be installed in all vehicles,” the message reads.
The blocks will be installed for free.
