Users report that apps close immediately after opening. Some users have resolved the issue by restarting their device, but others have been unsuccessful despite entering Safe Mode or trying other troubleshooting methods.

One of the users resorted to resetting the settings and restoring from a backup, which is considered a rather drastic measure in the community.

For those affected, it is speculated that the issue may be related to the system update page in Google Play Services as it did not load properly.

At this stage, the issue only seems to affect a small number of Pixel 6 and 7 owners, and there have been no reports of similar issues from other phone manufacturers.
