The court arrested the accounts of the founders of Mail.ru Group as part of the Game Insight bankruptcy case

On July 18, the Ninth Court of Arbitration Appeals partially granted the petition of Game Insight LLC bankruptcy trustee Denis Kachura, Kommersant reports. He requested that precautionary measures be taken against a group of people who he considers to have control of the debtor.

Therefore, the court decided to seize the bank accounts of eight people in the amount of 75.9 million rubles.

Among them are the former vice president of Mail.ru Group Igor Matsanyuk, whom Kachura considers the beneficiary of Game Insight, as well as the co-founders of Mail.ru Group Grigory Finger and Mikhail Vinchel, the former CEO of Game Insight Alexei Fesenko, the CFO Anastasia Bubinets, the founder of Data-Code LLC Igor Shelopaev and Sergey Avetikov, Matsanyuk’s partner at the star accelerator. tups Farmers. The court also placed interim measures on five properties owned by Finger.

Kachura explained to the publication that 75.9 million rubles are the claims of 271 company employees for wages included in the register of creditors. He also added that the investigating authorities are currently checking the fact of deliberate bankruptcy.

Kommersant also discovered that, as part of a separate proceeding, on July 18, the Moscow Court of Arbitration satisfied Game Insight’s claim against its parent structure, Game Insight’s Lithuanian UAB, for 154 million rubles. The Russian structure did not receive these funds from the Lithuanian one under contracts for the development of games.
