Perm scientists have created a neural network to help beekeepers. She analyzes the behavior of the bees in the hive by means of sound, recognizes that something is wrong and gives recommendations to solve problems. The founders of the project call on Russian beekeepers to help develop the project by installing a data collection device in their hives.
Perm scientists have created a neural network that analyzes the behavior of bees in the hive through sound and gives recommendations to the beekeeper for working with the apiary. This was reported by the press service of the Boomstarter platform, on which the startup raises funds for its development.
The neural network analyzes the noise in the hive, recognizes that something is wrong, and helps beekeepers take action.
“You need to install an application on your phone that analyzes the noise of the bees and leave the phone near the hive. The phone will collect and transmit acoustic data about what is happening in the hive,” the project noted.
The platform is based on big data analytics, so the project founders need to collect more information. The creators call on beekeepers all over Russia to help them with this by installing a data collection system in their apiary.
