I watched Ladybug and Super Cat: The Force Awakens. An excellent cartoon that is already in Russia

This is one of the most popular cartoons in Russia over the past few years. Director Jeremy Zag, one of the authors of the original French animated series, is responsible for the picture.

Favorite characters are now in the cinema

Often, full-length versions of animated series turn out to be failures or passages, they lack the original zest. With the novelty, things are a little different.

What is the movie about: in an ordinary French school, the girl Marinette and the boy Adrian, with whom she is in love, study. would be discovered, the classic story of first love, but these guys are not at all who they say they are. When the city is threatened, Marinette transforms into Ladybug and Adrien transforms into Super Cat.

Their little ability to fight evil, yet none of them knows who is really behind the mask.

In general, if you have already seen this series of cartoons, then you know what to expect from the novelty. It is not much different from the original tape, and it does not need to be.

Despite the general predictability of what is observed, they draw attention to the main duet: from their charm and “chemistry” to spectacular scenes and high-quality 3D art. It’s interesting to follow the characters, you empathize with them, because you’ve known them for years. Yes, there is something new and observable to surprise.

What I liked most here is a kind of story that tells about the battle of superheroes with villains, and about life in Paris, about local life and, in general, about the city itself – this is a kind of guide immune.

There are many intersections in the picture, both with real stories and locations, and with fictional ones. By the nature of the movie-likeness of Spider-Man, only here the main characters are replaced by others, but the essences are preserved – relations between them are revealed in the foreground of phenomena, they excite no less than saving Paris from monsters.

The villains were no less effective, and they also isolated themselves to the construction of the facility and the culture of France: from an evil mime and a croissant to a gargoyle that escaped directly from the wall of Notre Dame.

The reinvention of the animated series itself can be configured as part of the big movie universe, as is the case with Marvel. The characters seem to be the same, the events connected with what they occupy, thus showing them from the other side.

Well, yes, unlike autumn, here we have a musical. And this means that a large number of songs are expected. However, it seems to me that there are too many of them here, usually not enough. Even in the same “Aladdin” by Guy Ritchie, there was less musical component, and it looked like harmony. But here, to each his own.

Nicely drawn, this is a quality cartoon

It would be strange if it were otherwise, unknown original animators.

All adjustments are smooth, they are clearly drawn, the action scenes are set correctly. Due to this general positive viewing experience. Every battle, every little skirmish, is a feast for the eyes. Children such that in percent estimate.

Here, not only the characters are well developed, but also the locations in which they are constantly located. Even from them, you can count a lot of microstories, and some elements of influence are better to reveal the main characters.

“Lady Bug and Super Cat: The Force Awakens” is, first of all, a story not about the formation of heroes, but about the love of Marinette and Andrian.

The plot itself is presented simply, you do not expect any serious reflections from it. But it even suits him. We are watching a sweet musical that feels thirsty, oddly enough, a little less songs (not even of which they are repeated), but it has its own charm that makes you watch what is happening until the very credits.

This cartoon will hook both adults with its nostalgic notes, and a child with an interesting marriage. In general, I advise you to watch, you will not regret it.
