The volume of transfers through the FPS in the second quarter reached 7 trillion rubles, doubling year on year. In total, 1.6 billion transactions were made, the Central Bank reported, and the daily number of transfers exceeded 23 million transactions.
In the second quarter of 2023, 1.6 billion transactions were made using the FPS, the Bank of Russia reported. The total amount of these transactions amounted to 7 trillion rubles, twice as much as in the same period of 2022.
The average amount of transfers during the reporting period was 4.8 thousand rubles. The total volume of transfers was 27% higher than in the first quarter of 2023.
In the period from April to June 2023, the Russians made 300 million purchases through the SBP for a total of 600 million rubles. The Central Bank pointed out that during the past year these figures have multiplied by five.
Nine out of ten companies that accept payments through the PBS belong to the category of small and medium-sized enterprises, the Bank of Russia said. During the year, the number of establishments that accepted payments through the SBP exceeded one million, an increase of 60%.
